Why should you read the signals she is sending you?

The matter is that mutual understanding of two people becomes rather a difficult case if one of the partners isn’t able to guess or at least to feel, predict or anticipate that something is going wrong on your date or that everything is perfect. You might face the latter variant as well if you suffer prolonged anxiety before your date. Dating as such (and men’s dating in particular) supposes having fun together and enjoying the time spent with your partner, and it is impossible if you don’t understand each other and can’t tell at any given moment what she feels about you. Of course, such an intricate technique of “reading other people’s thoughts” can only become the result of multiyear practice and lifetime experience but it can also be cultivated in you to a certain extent. Fortunately for you, there are enough signs of attraction that are expressed by her reflexively, such as the body language in her gestures, look, pose and so on.

Small hints about her look

Pay attention to the way she looks at you and in your direction. In she’s interested in you, she will inevitably try to either hold her gaze for some time or even pull away at those moments when your eyes happen to make contact with hers. However, be mindful that if she tends to pull away quickly, that might also mean she is nervous or not ready yet to reveal her true intentions about you (but she likes you anyway).

And if she holds her stare, moreover, if you think that you can see responsiveness or affection in her eyes, then she’s confident about the thing and she may even take the first step. Trace some subtle signs in her face – if her eyes are dilating, it can mean that she really likes you.

But don’t be in a hurry to draw far-reaching conclusions ahead of time. Of course, some women might just be levelling eyes on you or winding you up, but don’t think that it is love from the first sight and that she wants to get in touch with the inner you. So learn and practise how to make out the context and read her real motives for looking at you.

Watch her body language

You can actually learn enough about a woman paying special attention to her body language and it further than just obvious signs of flirting – into the unconscious signals of her attraction.

For example, if her torso is turned open towards you, this means that she feels confident communicating with you. And if her body position is “closed” – for instance she sits with crossed arms or legs, she may be either shy or nervous to speak to you or she might just want to create a unconscious psychological barrier between you and her.
