I felt that there was somebody out there!

Chemistry.com has been an ideal opportunity to experience “online dating” whether its sharing lunch or meetings at a cafe with a new partner it always provided the chance to get to know your possible mate! It allows you to discover whether you share similar interests and are compatible or not, but of course the “chemistry” is always the essential ingredient in this mixture. I have met so many interesting and awesome men during my lifelong journey, and some even remain my friends today!

We wanted to meet again soon

Nevertheless, I did reach the place where I’d lost the interest in my “search” for an ideal partner, even though I felt that there was somebody out there and this man wasn’t too far away. Then John came along and wished to get to know me better. I said I’d prefer to have a meeting sooner rather than later, thus on a Saturday afternoon we met, and laughed all the way during our meeting which lasted over 4 hours! We wanted to meet again soon by the end.

After that first afternoon, we started meeting two times a week, enjoying a movie, going for walks or having a lunch… it felt just right to want to be every time together and more and more. I had a feeling that wall coming down, though I found enjoying the feeling of being “single” for eleven years it was today time for me to be together with my partner by my side. It was unfortunate that our restless lives with family/work, travelling distances to date and simply usual life was keeping us separately… So than we decided to move in order to be together and that allowed us to spend more time with each other. Both in our 50s and with good life experience under our belt we’re ready to take the jump, and what a adventure and journey it has turned out to become!

In the recent few weeks we’ve cleared and planted a garden together waiting for spring to come… For us it isn’t about romance, it is the chemistry that comes along the way, there’s so much to get known about each other as we offer ourselves a reflection. And there’s work to be done however as long as we are playful it is inspiring to share our lives together.
